Greatest ceremonial puck drop. Ever.

By Allan Muir
Outside of Roger Moore in Moonraker, I can’t imagine anyone has ever had more fun in outer space than Chris Hadfield. The Canadian commander of the International Space Station has swapped tweets with Captain James T. Kirk, spoken to kids at a school named after him in Milton, Ont., and recorded the first ever song in zero gravity.
Tonight, though, might have brought the moment the lifelong Maple Leafs fan tells his grandkids about.
An honour to drop the puck for the @MapleLeafs home opener tonight. Great to see Johnny Bower and a nice catch, Felix!
